There is many benefits to learning Spanish like being able to communicate with others. Getting to know and learn a new culture and being able to get better job offers. Being bilingual gives you an advantage as well.

Basic words
Some basic words we use often greetings and goodbyes. Like
Hola-Hello Adios- Good Bye
¿Que tal?- What's up? Hasta luego= Until next time
¿Como estas?- How are you? Nos vemos- See you
Buenos dia- Good Morning Te veo- I'll see you
Buenas tarde- Good Afternoon Que tengas un bien dia- Have a good day
Buenas noche- Good Night Me llamo- My name is

When to use
You do not use these words with just anyone these are certain words you don't use to certain people like ¿que tal? you do not use this words when talking to older people or someone you just met. Same with te veo you use these words more when talking to friends or family.

When is it appropriate to use these words
You cannot always use these words to everyone when speaking to people.
When speaking to people who are older or people you respect you use usted. When you are talking to your friends of brothers and sister you can use tu.

Feminine and Masculine words
When addressing a female you change the original word like the word el viejo. When you are addressing a female by this word you change the o to a. La vieja. You also change the verb like in a English we have he and she same in spanish. We also have you, him, her, us, and they. Also the words in plural.
El viejo- La vieja

Yo- I (Yo pido)
Tu- you (Tu pidas)
Usted- You but formal (Usted pide)
El- he but for a boy (El pide)
Ella- she (Ella pide)
Nosotros- us (Nosotros pedimos)
Ustedes- you guys but formal (Usteds piden)
Ellos- them (Ellos piden)
