Pythagorean Theorem

Everything About Pythagorean Theorem

Pythagorean Theorem is applied to right triangles. Each right triangle has two legs always A2 and B2. The diagonal line is called the hypotenuse and is C2. The formula to find the hypotenuse is A2 + B2 = C2. Sometimes you have to solve for the legs; in that case, you would do the formula C2 - A2 = B2. But how do we know what legs are A and which ones are B!?!?!?!?!

Don't worry it doesn't matter which one is which as long as C is the hypotenuse.
