(白話文:左邊乘以正數,右邊乘以一樣的正數,不等號方向不改變)

舉例: 0.5 x > -8
要求出x的範圍,必須讓不等號的一邊只留下x→乘以2
當左右兩邊同乘以2時→ 2 × 0.5x > 2 × (-8)
→ x > -16

舉例: -0.5 x > 8
要求出x的範圍,須讓不等號的一邊只留下x → 須乘以(-2)
當左右兩邊同乘以 (-2) 時
→ (-2) × (-0.5x) (-2) × 8 → x < -16

<THINK> 如果沒有變號會發生什麼事?
已知 -8 < -4,若將左右兩邊同乘以 -2,而且沒有注意變號規則時
→ (-2) × (-8) < (-2) × (-4) → 16 < 8
→大小關係產生矛盾,因為「 16 > 8」才對!因此在進行同乘負數時,
務必要讓不等號變號!
