 Because the researchers noticed that the Ivatan Foods is currently facing

gradual lost due to the modernization.

 Also the researchers chose this kind of topic thus they intend to preserve

the Ivatan food.

 As the researchers strand is TVL – food processing. It helps them to come up

with this research topic. The researchers look for problem of food
processing and came up with their topic Traditional Ivatan Dishes later on
change to Ivatan Food.
