45. 1st Grade SRR: Hill Cats

This big tan cat lives up on hills. It wants to eat. It smells a ram, but it does not see it yet. Then the big cat spots the ram.

Zip! The cat runs after the ram. It is quick! The ram is as quick as the big tan cat. It runs up on rocks. Rams run up big rocks well.

Will the big cat catch the ram? No! It zips off before the big cat can nab it. Rams can run up big rocks with quick steps.

This big tan cat is a mom cat. This mom cat has cubs with spots. Mom cats take cubs with them by the neck. Then the cubs will grow big.

Cubs nip, hop, cuff, and tug when they play. Mom cats take cubs with them up on rocks. Mom cats pass skills on to cubs.

Cubs dash into the den. Mom Cat slips in with them. Mom cats wash cubs with wet licks. That is a cub bath. Mom Cat will nap with them.
