WHAT IS SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

The present simple tense is used to describe regular actions, general truths, habits, and permanent situations. It is formed using the base form of the verb (infinitive) without any changes for the subject, except for the third-person singular form, which adds an -s or -es to the verb.
