​Identifying Adjectives

​Adjective: is a word that describes a person, place, thing, or idea (noun)

Adjectives That Come BEFORE The Noun

I like blue jackets. -------- Blue describes the jackets (their color).

My sister bought two sweaters. ---------- Two tells about the sweaters (how many).

Can you find any clean socks? --------- Clean tells about the socks (their condition).

Adjectives That Come AFTER The Noun

Her sweater is blue. ---------- In these sentences, the adjectives come after the noun,

The socks are clean. but nor right after. They follow the verb.
