Question Types

It matters how you ask. Quizizz allows you to use different question types to assess student learning. In the following slides, we will review my favorite question types!

The best part is that you can write your OWN questions or use the questions other educators have created!!

All Question Types

A S S E S S M E N T

Give students up to five possible answers, with an option for
multiple correct answers just like they’ll find on state tests

Students engage with concepts physically as they arrange words to
form a sentence, order WWII battles chronologically, and more

Students engage with concepts physically as they match capital
cities with states, fractions with their percentages, and more

Flexibly assign points for exact words/numbers (e.g. for math
skills) or answers that contain them (e.g. for defining vocabulary)

Because everyone moves at their own pace. Quizizz has different modes and ways of achieving mastery.

A new and exciting live game mode where the entire class races to the top of a mountain.

●Students have more autonomy on choosing power-ups and mini-games throughout

Students are able to retake questions
at the end of a level (mastery peak) or end of a Quizizz for a chance to increase their score.

In the report, teachers can see how many times a student tried the question and the different answers they provided each time.
