With Hotspot, students can select specific areas or regions on an image based on the question asked. Hotspot is auto-graded and well-suited for visual learners.
Enter your question and select the image that is to be marked with hotspots. Next, choose between adding circular, rectangular, or freeform hotspots. The freeform hotspot enables you to mark a polygonal area of your choice.

Drag and drop labels onto any
picture!
Enter your question and select the image that needs to be labeled. Next, enter your label options and mark the correct one(s). You can add up to 10 label options and mark multiple options as correct. You can also add equations to the question and label options using the Equation Editor. This is auto graded.

20
Matching
The Match question type encourages your students to match concepts and topics they've learned in class.
You can also add answer explanations to explain the matching better to enable higher-order thinking.
Your students will see the options shuffled and they'll have to drag and drop the answers to match the correct answers.
21
Match
Match the following biomolecules to their examples:
Carbohydrate
Lipid
Protein
Nucleic Acid

22
Give students up to five possible
answers, with an option for
multiple correct answers.
MCQs on Quizizz also enable you to generate incorrect options automatically with the help of AI technology.
Multiple Choice

Multiple Choice
Multiple Choice Question:
What is the capital of Texas?
Dallas
Houston
Austin
San Antonio
Boerne
24
Assess students on higher-order thinking questions and gauge their understanding with the Reorder question type.
Engage your students with fun questions that get them to think more critically about a problem or question.
Your students will see these options as shuffled and they'll be able to submit their answers in ascending or descending order per your requirement.
Reorder
25
Reorder
Reorder the steps of the common phrase:
26
The Fill in the Blanks question type is ideal for short responses. It enables students to manually type answers either in a single input field or in separate boxes per letter. Fill in the Blanks answers can be up to 40 characters in length.
Fill in the Blank
27
Fill in the Blanks
28
Encourage your students to practice higher-order thinking! Create a question, add the answer and select the answer that needs to be dragged and dropped into the blank on the students' view. You can also add up to 10 incorrect answers as options. You can also have multiple blanks (up to 10) within the same question. You can also grade each blank answer accordingly.
Drag and Drop & Dropdown

Drag and Drop
30
Give students a voice!
You can set their response time limit from 5 seconds to 120 mins. Students have the option to play and re-record (retake) their responses multiple times to improve their submissions. You can access their responses on the reports, however, you cannot download them.
Audio Response
31
Audio and Video Responses bust be graded manually.

32
Enable your students to draw, identify and point out using the draw question. Students have the options to choose between a highlighter, a pen, a color wheel, and an eraser. They also have the undo and redo options. Every answer attempted on a draw question will not be graded. However, you can manually grade the answers submitted for this question type.

Graphing is an auto-graded question type that is ideal for subjects like Physics and Math. It enables students to answer a question by plotting solutions on a graph. You can choose between points, linear, quadratic, and exponential solutions.
You can also add non-interactive plots such as points, lines, and curves to your graph. And, you have the option of changing the scale of the graph from 10 to 20 units.

Graph y = x + 4
36
Students can use a math editor
to write responses in the form of
numericals, fractions,
expressions, equations, or
irregularities!
This question type recognizes that there are several ways of writing the same expression or equation. For instance, (x+y)(x-y) has the same value as x² - y². Mathematical Equivalence enables students to express the answer to a question in multiple correct ways.
With Mathematical Equivalence enabled, a student's response that is equivalent to your answer will also be marked as correct. For example, if you have entered 1.5 as the expected correct answer to your question, 1½ and 3/2 will also be recognized as correct responses in the reports. You can assign a scaled grade if required too.
Mathematical equivalence is enabled by default, and you can disable it by deselecting the checkbox. Note that points are not awarded for partially correct answers.

38
Open-ended questions are long answer questions. The character limit for open-ended is 1000. A message shows up when the answer reaches 800 characters. Students can also show their work in assessments that require work that needs to be submitted for evaluation.
Note: Open-ended questions are not graded.
