I can't function without my 8 hours of sleep every night. I always go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. Otherwise, I feel groggy and unproductive throughout the day. Last week, I had a really important presentation at work, and I couldn't sleep the night before. Needless to say, the presentation didn't go as well as I hoped.
Which opinion can you relate to?
I am a morning person through and through! I love waking up early, getting some work done, and going for a run before most people are even awake. Going to bed late means I'll miss out on all the morning peace and quiet. I used to go to bed late all the time during college, but now that I've developed better sleeping habits, I feel so much happier and more energized.
I feel like I'm caught in between being a morning person and a night owl. I tend to go to bed late because I like spending some time alone at night, but then I also struggle to wake up early in the morning. Sometimes I try to sleep early, but then end up lying there for hours, scrolling through social media. It's such a hard habit to break!
I am absolutely against the idea of forcing someone to conform to one type of sleeping habit. Everyone has their own natural rhythm, and who are we to tell them when they should sleep? My creative energy always comes alive at night, so I tend to stay up very late working on personal projects. Some of my best ideas have come to me at 3 in the morning!
