Classroom Norms and Expectations

I will raise a quiet hand to speak.

I will wait my turn to talk.

I will keep my desk and personal space clean and organized.

I will be respectful of other people's belongings and personal space.

If I need help, I will use ASK 3 Before ME to solve my problem.

I will make positive, kind, and successful choices.

I will return any supplies that I have borrowed from the teacher or my classmates.

Class Rules (what we expect)

• Enter class quietly & respectfully

• Backpacks along back wall

• Morning Routine

  • Attendance, Pledge, School Rules, Positive Affirmations

• Practice using ASL signs

• Always walk in the classroom

• Finished work in blue basket

• Sign out before leaving classroom

• I may sharpen my pencil as long as the teacher or my classmate is not speaking.

• I may work with a partner to solve a problem or ask for help.

• I may get supplies and extra work from the student station.
