GEOGRAPHY OF ANCIENT EGYPT

The most important part of Ancient Egypt's geography is the Nile River

The Nile River is the longest river in the world is 4,132 miles. It once took someone 9 months to walk the length of it.

It was important because every September it would flood and create rich
soil that was great for farming. It also provided the Ancient Egyptians with
transportation and building materials (they used to make bricks out of the
mud from the river

picture writing system called Hieroglyphs, which was a
great achievement.

They also built beautiful and large pyramids to house and
honor their pharaohs after death.
