Verbals are verbs that act as another part of speech, such as adjectives, adverbs or nouns.

To help create vivid descriptions.

Why?

A verb that is used as an adjective (describing word) to modify a noun (person, place, or thing)

Ends in -d, -ed, -en.

The disgraced regime came to an end.

Past Tense

Ends in -ing.

The deafening cheers shook the stadium.
