So what is a verbal?
A verbal is a word that is formed from a verb but is used in a sentence as a noun, an adjective, or an adverb.
Think of them as secret agents. They look like one thing, but really, they're something else.

Most end in -ing or -ed, but like the video said, there are many other possible endings.
HINT: If you can take the word out of the sentence, it is probably the participle! Remember, complete sentences need verbs, but adjectives are extra!

Example:
