Sometimes, when you divide, you will have a reminder.
A remainder is whatever is leftover after you split up your dividend evenly as much as possible.
You can give the remaining chicken nugget to Mr. Smallwood!
If we divide 7 chicken nuggets between two people (7 ÷ 2), each person will get 3 and there will be a remainder of 1 chicken nugget.
