The egg stage lasts 2-3 weeks before hatching into tadpoles! Tadpoles eat what remains of their egg for nutrition, the process of metamorphosis is hungry work! Lots of energy and good food is needed to eventually change into an adult frog.

The final stage in the life cycle of a frog is the adult stage. The frog has lost it's tail and developed lungs to live and breath on land. As frogs are amphibians their skin must stay moist and they have webbed feet help them swim in the water as well as live on land.
