Los superlativos se utilizan para
hacer comparaciones extremas,
es decir, para decir qué objeto,
persona o lugar es el más o al
menos en una categoría
específica. Por ejemplo, podemos
decir que el elefante es el
animal más grande o que la
montaña Everest es la montaña
más alta.

Para formar superlativos en inglés,
generalmente se agrega "the" delante
del adjetivo y se añade "-est" al final.
Por ejemplo, "the biggest" (el más
grande) o "the tallest" (el más alto). Sin
embargo, hay algunas excepciones y
reglas especiales dependiendo de la
terminación del adjetivo.
