What are Character Traits?

A Character trait is how you describe characters in
a story. There are 2 kind of traits:

1. Behavior

2. Appearance

Appearance

You describe a character’s appearance using sensory details.

Ex. The skeleton is tall and its bones made a clanking
sound as he walked.

Categorize

She had red hair and freckles.

The scent of the roses was sweet and pleasant.

The dogs fur was rough and wiry.
