หลักการเรียงคำคุณศัพท์ (Order of Adjectives) ในประโยคภาษาอังกฤษ

จำไว้ให้แม่น คำคุณศัพท์ต้องเรียงตามลำดับนี้เท่านั้น…

ลำดับที่ 1 : ความคิดเห็น เช่น beautiful (สวย), good (ดี), bad (เลว), friendly (เป็นมิตร)

ลำดับที่ 2 : ขนาด เช่น short (สั้น), small (เล็ก), tall (สูง), long (ยาว) 

ลำดับที่ 3 : อายุ เช่น old (แก่), young (หนุ่มสาว), middle-aged (กลางคน)

ลำดับที่ 4 : สี เช่น black (สีดำ), white (สีขาว), red (สีแดง), green (สีเขียว)

ลำดับที่ 5 : ที่มา เชื้อชาติ เช่น Thai (ไทย), Chinese (จีน), Japanese (ญี่ปุ่น)

ลำดับที่ 6 : ชนิดวัตถุ เช่น metal (โลหะ), wood (ไม้), plastic (พลาสติก)

What is the order of adjectives in a sentence?

In a sentence, 0 the determiner always comes first.
This is followed by the:
1. quantity, 5. shape,
2. opinion, 6. colour,
3. size, 7. origin
4. age, 8. material and purpose/ qualifier
the noun being described.
