G7 - Asia

Asia is the world's largest and most populous continent.

Most of the continent of Asia is located in the northern half of the globe.

It is boarded by the Arctic Ocean to the north, to the south by the Indian Ocean, to the west by the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and Asia is shared with Europe to the north-west side.

Some geographers use the name of Eurasia to designate the land mass of the continents of Asia and Europe.

The Ural Mountains and the Ural River are considered separating region between the two continents. It is also associated with Africa in the Sinai Peninsula and the Suez Canal is considered the separating boundary between them.

Russia is classified geographically within the continent of Asia and it is the largest country in this continent with an area of about 17 million KM2, while classified as politically and culturally within the continent of Europe

The Asian continent contains many Arab countries, which are primarily located in the subregion of Western Asia, also known as the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula.

Key Arab countries in this region of Asia include Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen.
