Building Compound Sentences

Building Compound, Complex, and Compound-Complex Sentences

Combine clauses to form compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences. Use coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or) to connect independent clauses. Use subordinating conjunctions (although, because, while) to connect dependent and independent clauses. Combine both types to create compound-complex sentences. Remember to use appropriate punctuation and sentence structure.
