Direct Object Pronouns
A direct object pronoun is a type of pronoun that replaces a direct object in a sentence.
By using direct object pronouns, you can avoid repeating the noun. For example: I saw John yesterday. I saw him crossing the street.
In the example "him" is the direct object.
