Terrain

Terrain is used to refer to an area of land or a type of land when you are considering its physical features

To describe the terrain of the land, one uses factors such as the slope, elevation, and orientation of the land.


The terrain of land affects the flow and distribution of water.

Natural Resources

• Resources which are obtained from nature are called Natural Resources

• Oil, coal, natural gas, metals, stone and sand are natural resources.

Man-made Resources

• When a natural resource undergoes drastic change by human intervention, it becomes a human made resource

• Human made resources are created from natural resources by human resources

• Roads, machinery and vehicles are all human made resources
