Relative Pronouns

Relative Pronouns stand for nouns and can be used to combine sentences. Some relative pronouns are who, whom, which, whose, that, whatever, whomever, whoever.

These relative pronouns are used for things or animals without a name.

Eg. This is the horse which won the race.

Note: Who is used as the subject of the sentence and whom is used as the object of the sentence. Who is also used for animals which have a name.
