Mastering Public Forum Debate
PFD is a form of debate in high school forensics that emphasizes presentation, speaking style, knowledge of the topic, and a general application of arguments. Unlike CX and LD debate, PFD has fewer conventions and rules. Prior to each debate, teams will prepare arguments and engage in crossfire. PFD was previously known as Controversy Debate, Ted Turner Debate, and Crossfire.
