In 2015, a team of girl scouts wondered how they could make reading easier for people who can't move their arms. Coral reefs provide shelter, a place to hide, for little fish. That many small fish in one place attracts big fish, which in turn attracts BIG predators like sharks. Bigger predators cannot invade the coral, however, they wait along the edges for fish to leave to attack. The reef also provides a place for algae and sponges to grow safely. They provide food for sea turtles and other sea life. If coral were to become extinct so would the turtles and other ocean creatures that rely on them for protection and food.

The reader can infer that----

a variety of ocean life is becoming endangered
