Let's review the differences between a complete sentence and a fragement sentence.

What is a complete sentence?

A complete sentence tells a complete thought.

Example:
The dog. (NOT a complete sentence)
The dog sits on the grass. (IS a complete sentence)

What is a complete sentence?

A complete sentence will begin with a capital letter.
Example: The students are working on a project.

A complete sentence will end with a punctuation mark.
Example: What project are the students working on?

The predicate starts with a verb and tells what the subject is or does.

The subject is the noun (person, place, or thing) that the sentence is about.
