VOULOIR can be used with either a noun or another verb

after it..

POUVOIR can be used either alone or with another verb

after it..

● Nous pouvons faire de la randonnée.
● Mon frère peut jouer de la guitare.

● Oui, je peux!

★ For both VOULOIR & POUVOIR, if they are used with

another verb, the 2nd verb will stay in its infinitive
(unconjugated) form!
