What are you looking forward to the most in the upcoming months?

Performances:

·        3/12/24 – Wildcat Band Concert 7pm @ MMS

o   This concert is snapshot of the different stages of being a band student at Mechanicsburg.

o   5^th grade band, 7/8 band, 7/8 jazz band, the high school symphonic band and the high school jazz band will perform.

o   6^th grade students will not perform, but are strongly encourage to attend!!

·        4/9/24 – Music Performance Assessment Day at Camp Hill (trip during the school day)

·        5/16/24 – Marching band rehearsals begin

·        5/23/24 – Spring Band Concert 7pm @ MMS

o   ALL MMS bands will perform

·        5/24/24 – Music Department Fun Day 6pm-8pm

o   Snacks, music, and games will be available for an end of the year party for all members of the MMS music department.

·        5/31/24 – 7^th/8^th Grade Band trip

• Meet and greet with MASH high school band members and Camp Hill Band members!

What now?

• If you have not done so already, do your sectional or practice video for sectionals or jazz band.

• Go through the flip grids that have been posted for the 3rd marking period and see if you need to complete make-up videos.

• You are scheduled to be in band now, I am giving you time to complete them. No excuses!

I will remain in the Zoom until 3:30. Feel free to stay on while you practice/record. You can also stick around to ask questions regarding the Hershey Park trip or our other performances.
