Early-Life:

Her entire childhood was spent dreaming of becoming a nurse,

But once she attended high school, she slowly switched her interest
to pharmacy. She grew up in birmingham. She lived with her
mother and brother. She faced segregated education an
unexplained refusal of funds that would normally be provided for
training and education while at NASA.

Education:

She returned to school in the 1970s to complete a

mathematics degree from cleveland state university in 1977.
From 5th grade to high school, she attended parochial schools
in birmingham, graduating as class valedictorian. Yes, she went
to college, and got a bachelor of science in mathematics from
cleveland state university.

Relationships:

She made a line of work to be dominated by males. Her mother
was her greatest role model. In 1954, Annie easily married a man
from the military. No, Annie easley did not have children.

Personal-Life:

She would contribute to numerous programs as a computer

scientist, inspire many through her enthusiastic participation in
outreach programs, and break down barriers for women an people
of color in science, technology, engineering, and mathematic
(STEM) fields. The win of admiration & respect for her coworkers.

Career:

Annie easley had brown curly hair, dark brown eyes, and she was
browned skinned too. Annie-easley (1933-2011) was a
computer-scientists, mathematician and also a rocket scientists too.

Mentors:

Easley had began her career as a human computer doing
compilations for researchers.

Legacy:

Easley is best known for her work on centaur: a high energy,
upper rocket stage, which what had its first successful launch
in 1963.

Historical-events

Easley worked with the centaur project, and helped lay the

technological foundations for the future space shuttle
launches an the launches of communication, military and
weather satellites too.

Accomplishments

She developed and implemented a code used in

researching energy-conversion systems, analyzing alternative
power technology- including the battery of technology that
was used for early hybrid vehicles, as well as for the centaur of
the upper-stage rocket.

Culture

She was one of the few african-americans in the field of
engineering, and in the 1990’s and 1960’s she was one of the
extremely few women engineers working at the NACA lewis
flight propulsion laboratory which then became known as
NASA’s lewis research center ( now Glenn Research Center).

Obstacles

Easley faced challenges during her life and career,

including segregated education ( Prior to the civil rights
movement in america), and unexplained refusal of funds that
would normally be provided for training and education while at
NASA.
