Complex Solutions
Because Biology is complicated...
2
Complex Solutions Have Many Ingredients
First figure out the final volume you will need, or V2
Address each component individually.
Decide how to best prepare the solution logically.
Get very close to the final volume before adjusting pH (if needed).

You want to make 500mL of 0.01M Tris-HCl, 0.25M glucose, 0.1% (vol/vol) Tween-Twenty, 5% (wt/vol) BSA.
You have stock of powdered Tris-HCl (MW 157.6 Da), 3M glucose stock, ample Tween-20 liquid, and solid BSA.
Preparation:
Dissolve the solid Tris-HCl in about 70% of the water you will need (350mL).
Then dissolve the BSA. (Order doesn't really matter here.)
Add the liquid glucose and Tween while stirring. (Maybe you have a stir bar going.)
Raise the water level to near the 500mL total.
Check and adjust pH.
Finalize the water addition to reach 500mL final volume.
