How to use the verb avoir

avoir is used to express things you have

I have stuff. I have fears. I have warmth and chilliness. The idea that the verb "to have" is used to express fears, hunger, thirst,

• Avoir chaud: Tu as chaud (You are warm/hot ***specific to temperature***)

• Avoir besoin de: Nous avons besoin d'étudier (We need to study)

• ne becomes n' before a vowel or silent h.
