Cryptography is the process of hiding or coding information so that only the person a message was intended for can read it.

This will prevent third parties from reading the messages.

It uses algorithms and mathematical concepts to transform messages into difficult-to-decipher codes

Data confidentiality is a set of rules or a promise that limits access or places restrictions on any information that is being shared.

Ex : 1) Healthcare Records
2) Financial Transactions

Integrity means that data or information in your system is maintained so that it is not modified or deleted by unauthorized parties. It can only be edited by authorized parties.

Ex : 1) Email fraud attacks
2) Financial Fraud

Integrity

checking if a user's credentials match the credentials in a database of authorized users or a data authentication server. Usually, authentication by a server entails the use of a username and password.

Ex :1) Online banking and financial
2) E-commerce transactions.

Authentication

Ability to prove or disprove that something happened such as a financial transaction or digital signature on legal agreement.
Prevent entities from claiming they didn't agree to something or sign a document.
