Упражнение

​Imperfective verbs are used to describe something that happened repeatedly in the past.

Брат любил шутить за обедом (= во время обеда) и часто рассказывал нам что-нибудь забавное (amusing).
My brother loved to tell jokes during lunch. (many jokes, many lunches)

Отец несколько раз присылал деньги своему сыну-студенту.
Dad sent his student son money several times. The money is just pouring in.

(The son is ecstatic!)

По субботам мы с другом встречались на стадионе.
On Saturdays I met my friend at the
stadium. (many meetings, many times!)
