Types of question tags • Negative Question Tag- if the main part of the question is positive then the question tag should be negative. For example, Your name is Anthony, isn't it? You were joking, weren't you? • Positive question mark- If the main part of the sentence is negative then the question tag should be positive. For example, You don't study English, do you? You wouldn't stop me, would you?

Question tags definition :

short question placed at the end of the statements to stress an idea or we use it when we not sure about something and want to confirm it for example : you are a student , aren't you ? , and we also use it when we expect others to agree with what we are saying.

Types of question tags :

1. Negative Question Tag : if the main part of the question is positive then the question tag should be negative.

   For example, He is a farmer, isn't he ?

2. Positive question Tag : If the main part of the sentence is negative then the question tag should be positive.

   For example, You don't study French , do you?
