Like the moon and stars signify the end of the day, suffixes fall at the end of words.
For example:
-ant one who servant, assistant
Knowing -ant means "one who" helps me understand that a servant is one who serves someone's needs (cooking, cleaning)
-ent one who parent, student, independent
Knowing -ent means "one who" helps me understand that a student is one who actively participates in their learning achievements.
