Recount is a text that purposes

to retell an experience or

something happens in the past.

In this occasion we will discuss:

• Simple Past (verb past)

• Time connector ( … ago,

yesterday, last …, etc)

“Last holiday, my family and I went to The Jungle in Bogor.
We went there by car for an hour. The weather was warm
and sunny. It was a good time for swimming. After
having a meal, my little brother and I were swimming
while my father and my mother sat and had a rest near
the pool. We were so happy on that holiday.”
