Nuri, Bilge- Ceytan is a famous Turkish film director, photographer, writer and actor. Before his long career, he took part in cinema and photography clubs at university in Istanbul. At that time, he was very interested in photography. He graduated in 1985 with a degree in Engineering. After that, he went to London, and then Kathmandu in Nepal, to decide what to do in life. Next, he went back to Ankara, in Turkey. When he was back in Turkey, he realized that cinema was his passion. Ceylon has won many awards for his work. First, he on the Golden Orange award for Best Director in 1999. After that, he continued to win many other awards for his films. Finally, he won his most remarkable award., the Pal-me, d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. Nowadays, Ceylon continue to work on new films and photography that people see around the world.
