Conflict: The main problem in the story is that Perseus really wants to defeat Medusa, who is a very dangerous monster.

First... Perseus consults Athena.
Next... Perseus finds Medusa. She is surrounded by statues. These are all the people she turned to stone by looking at them.
Then... Perseus does not look at Medusa. Instead, he looks at her reflection in his shield.
After that... Perseus kills Medusa and Pegasus comes of Medusas' neck.

Resolution: Perseus flies away on Pegasuss' back.
