We use geoboards to create shapes. Today, we will use rubber bands to make different kinds of shapes on our geoboards. Then we will identify the shapes we have made.

4

Example:

Use a rubber band to create a shape with four sides on your geoboard. Each side should be three pegs long.

This is how your shape should look.

Let's think about what we can tell from the geoboard:
- the shape has four sides (quadrilateral)
- each side is the same length (square or rhombus)
- the shape is not tilted
(square)
