Julius is not feeling well after their trip to Baguio, so his mother used a thermometer to measure his temperature. The normal body temperature is 37^oC. Observing the thermometer at the right, How many degrees (in ^oC) is Julius' temperature higher than the normal body temperature?

What is asked in the word problem?
-> How many degrees (in ^oC) is Julius' temperature higher than the normal body temperature?

What are the given facts in the word problem?
-> Normal body temperature = 37^oC
Julius' temperature = 40^oC

SOLUTION:
40^OC - 37^OC = 3^OC

ANSWER:
Julius' body temperature is 3^OC higher than normal body temperature.
