Ayden's Brave Night at School
2
Once upon a time, in the small town of Saginaw Michigan, there lived a 8-year-old boy named Ayden. He was known for his disruptive behavior and his habit of causing trouble. The day before his class field trip to Lemans Green Apple Barn, Ayden lived up to his reputation.
3
As the day went on, Ayden's behavior got worse and worse. He disrupted his class's learning and even made his teacher, Ms. Latoria, upset. Fed up with Ayden's antics, Ms. Latoria made him stay after school to write sentences: "I will not disrupt my class's learning."
4
With a defiant sigh, Ayden began writing his sentences. But as he wrote, he grew more and more tired. The classroom was warm, and the hum of the fluo-res-cent lights was soothing. Ayden couldn't help it—he dozed off.
5
Meanwhile, Ms. Latoria received a call from the hospital. Her dad had fallen ill, and she had to rush to be by his side. In her hurry, she left the school, forgetting that Ayden was still there.
6
Ayden woke up in the dimly lit classroom, dis-o-ri-ent-ed and scared. He tried to use the phone, but he didn't know anyone's phone number. When he looked outside, he was met with a pitch-dark night.
7
As Ayden gazed out the window, he spotted two shady figures named Khamari and Demarcus. They had heard a rumor that Francis Reh School had a vast stockpile of food, and they planned to break in and steal it.
8
Ayden knew he had to do something. He used his im-mense creativity and ability to set up three clever traps to keep the robbers out. He placed buckets of marbles near the entrance, tied strings with bells, and stacked nois-y books by the windows.
9
When Khamari and Demarcus tried to enter, they tripped over the marbles, setting off a ca-coph-o-ny of bells and knocking down the books. Startled and spooked, they fled the scene.
10
The next day, Ayden woke up to the sound of voices. The sun was shining brightly, and his classmates had arrived for their field trip. Ms. Latoria was back too, relieved to find Ayden safe and sound.
Thanks to Ayden's quick thinking and his clever traps, the school's food was safe, and everyone enjoyed their trip to Lemans Green Apple Barn. Ayden had learned the value of responsibility and being resourceful, and he promised to behave better from then on.
