Explain

Sun

The Sun is a star, a hot ball of glowing gases
at the heart of our solar system. Without the
sun’s intense energy and heat, there would
be no life on Earth. The Sun is the closest
star to Earth and about one million Earths
could fit inside it.

The Sun is the largest object
in our solar system and is
positioned at its center.

Earth

The Earth is the third planet from the Sun,
with Mercury and Venus being closer. Its
unique position gives the Earth a temperate
climate, allowing the conditions necessary to
sustain life.

The Earth is small
compared to the Sun.

Moon

The Moon is the planet Earth’s only natural
satellite and makes a complete orbit about
once every 28 days with it progressing
through distinct phases.

The Moon is small
compared to the Earth.
