We can calculate how much food you need. What you need to know is that, the daily energy requirement for a student is 8000KJ per day. Out of that, 60% should be carbohydrates and 30% should be fat, while 10% should be protein. Now let's calculate!
Food calculations

Example question
How much mass of carbohydrate should you eat each day if each gram supplies 16 KJ of energy?J?
Mass of food = (%of food/100 x energy needed per day)/energy supplied
= (60/100 x 8000)/16
= 300KJ
