Crocodiles and the Plover Bird

  • have a symbiotic, mutualistic relationship, meaning they both benefit from each other

  • the Plover eats parasites and leftover food in the crocodile’s mouth.

  • the bird gets food, while the crocodile gets its mouth cleaned
