In today's lesson you will learn how to solve a system of equations graphically.

Steps to solving the system

1. Graph the first equation.

2. Graph the second equation on the same rectangular coordinate system.

3. Determine whether the lines intersect, are parallel, or are the same line.

4. Identify the solution to the system. If the lines intersect, identify the point of intersection.

Steps to solving the system

1. Determine matrix by writing out:

   [numbers of variables] x [x,y] = [ #].

2. Turn on calculator and hit the 2nd button (blue) and then x^-1 .

3. Scroll over to Edit and hit enter.

4. Enter the rows and columns of your matrix.

5. Then hit 2nd button (blue) and then x^-1 -> Math

6. Then hit ->B->2nd button (blue) and then x^-1 enter A and hit enter.

7. Your answer will appear.
