Grammar Pattern:
〇〇 が すき です
(noun/object) ga suki desu
meaning → I like .....
Example :
にほん の のみもの が すき です
Nihon no nomimono ga suki desu
I like the Japanese drinks/beverage
NOTE:
You can use "... ga suki desu" to say you like something, but not to talk about activities you like to do. Always put a noun before "ga suki desu."

Grammar Pattern:

meaning → I don't like .....
Example :

NOTE:

〇〇じゃ ない です ..... jya nai desu
Usage:
〜じゃないです (.... jya nai desu) is used to say something is not something else.
Placement:
Put it after a noun or an adjective.

Breakdown:
Noun + じゃないです (jya nai desu)
Example: わたし は せんせい じゃ ない です。 (Watashi wa sensei jya nai desu) → I am not a teacher
な (na) - Adjective + じゃないです (jya nai desu)
Example: すき じゃ ない です。 (Suki jya nai desu) → I don't like (it)
きらい じゃ ない です。 (Kirai jya nai desu) → I don't hate (it)

Japanese Frequency Words
Japanese: Degree/intensity words come before the adjective or verb.
Example:
にほん の たべもの を あまり たべません。
(Nihon no tabemono wo amari tabemasen)
I don't really eat Japanese foods
がっこう が ぜんぜん すき じゃない です
Gakkou ga zenzen suki jya nai desu
I don't like school at all
As for あまり (amari) and
ぜんぜん (zenzen) you must add verb negative not positive such as :
~じゃないです (...jya nai desu)
~ません (...masen)
Japanese Verb:
たべます Tabemasu (to eat)
のみます Nomimasu (to drink)
ききます Kikimasu (to listen)
します Shimasu (to do)
Negative verb:
Drop the ます (masu) and add ません (masen)
Example :
たべます (tabemasu) → たべません (tabemasen)
+ ~じゃないです (.... jya nai desu)
+ ~ません (.... masen)

Expressing Dislikes with Intensity
Grammar Pattern:
〇〇 が (intensity) すき じゃ ない です
(noun/object) ga (intensity) suki jya nai desu
meaning → I don't like .....
Example :
スポーツ が ぜんぜん すき じゃ ない です
Supootsu ga zenzen suki jya nai desu
I don't like sport(s) at all
NOTE:
You can use ぜんぜん (zenzen: not at all) and
あまり (amari: not really) to show how strongly you dislike something.
