present perfect vs
present perfect continuous
I've written a letter. - Napisałam list.
I've been writing a letter.
31
present perfect vs
present perfect continuous
My bicycle was broken. Now it's working again. I have repaired it. - Mój rower się popsuł. Teraz jest znów sprawny. Naprawiłem go.
My hands are very dirty. I've been repairing my bicycle. - Mam brudne ręce. Naprawiałem rower.
Czynność dokonana czy niedokonana?
W pierwszym zdaniu użyto czasu Present Perfect, ponieważ przedstawiono tu czynność dokonaną i jej końcowy rezultat.
32
present perfect vs
present perfect continuous
They have painted the room blue. - Pomalowali pokój na niebiesko.
They have been painting their room since noon. - Malują pokój od poludnia.

33
present perfect vs
present perfect continuous
I have written ten e-mails today. vs I have been writing e-mails since midday.
Jeff has stayed at his uncle's twice this month. vs Jeff has been staying at his uncle's for a month.
34
present perfect vs
present perfect continuous
(static vs dynamic verbs)
I have loved him since I saw him. - Kocham go od momentu, gdy go zobaczyłam.
I have never understood her. - Nigdy jej nie rozumiałem.
