Objective(s):

• Pupils will be able to identify and spell words beginning with consonant blend “bl”.
  

Knowledge: develop an understanding of blending two letters to make one sound.

 Skills: -listening and speaking, -identifying blends in words, -circle the blend in each word, -Drawing and painting pictures, -reading passage that contain words beginning with consonant ‘bl’, -fluency, -modelling the blend “bl”

• Musical: Students will Listen to audio on bl blend and compose their own lyrics for “bl” sound.

• Bodily-Kinesthetic: Students will Draw and Paint pictures for words beginning with "bl" sound.

• Visual: Provide visual supports (objects of images) of things that begin with beginning consonant blend ‘bl” to support student learning.
