Hunter-Gatherers followed the large groups of animals they hunted across the Bering Land Bridge. Once upon a time, the water between Russia and Alaska was frozen over and the ice was so thick that animals and humans could cross over it. When the animals like the mammoths crossed over the Bering Land Bridge, the Hunter-Gatherer clans followed them into North America. Once the Hunter-Gatherers crossed into North America, the clans would go in different directions migrating after the herds of animals they hunted.
